Adult Faith Formation
Formation in our Catholic faith does not end with the Sacrament of Confirmation
. Catholic formation is a life-long journey, in which we continually deepen our relationship with Jesus through the teachings of His Catholic Church.
Please join us for our summer series of a renewal in your faith. 
The presenters for each evening are Fr. Henry and Mrs. Jean Kechejian. Mark your calendars; more information will follow.


Sessions are Wednesday evenings, 7 p.m. in the meeting room at the parish center.  Let us journey together in faith!!

St. John XXIII Council 5987 Family Rosary

Family Rosary Sunday, July 29 following the 10:30am Mass.  Please join us. This months intention Evangelization - Priests and their Pastoral Ministry. This is a new program the K of C to help promote the praying of the rosary on a regular basis. St. John XXIII Council will be participating in this program throughout our fraternal year.

Bible Reading Marathon

​Thursday, August 2 - Saturday, August 4 from 8am until 8pm, Christians gathering from all the local churches of Monroe and surrounding towns will engage in reading the Bible - out loud - on the Monroe Town Green in the Gazebo.  

​And you are personally invited to be a part of this powerful event! Yes, really, anyone and everyone can participate!

Men's Bible Study will begin on Saturday, September 15 at 7am, and meet most Saturday mornings thereafter. Our discussions on the scripture will promote a communion of brotherly spirit. MOMS MEETING OTHER MOMS GROUP
The group meets monthly during the school year and is open to all mothers of the Parish who have children ages infant through college.

Project Homeless Connect 2018

Project Homeless Connect, serving the homeless, poor, and vulnerable families in Bridgeport, will occur in late July at the University of Bridgeport.  Healthcare and housing agencies, barbers and beauticians are some of those offering their services to assist those in need.  We, at Saint Jude Parish are being asked to collect soft packages of baby wipes.
 A large container will be available in the vestibule of the church during the month of June.  Please consider donating to this local and worthy cause. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

New Ministers Are Needed.  

ALTAR LINEN MINISTERS NEEDED
Altar Linen Ministers clean purificatory and corporals we use for Masses every day.  They take one month a year to do weekly wash.  Could you help?  Please call Ann Szczesny at 203-261-8605

USHERS NEEDED.  Our 4pm Mass on Saturdays and 12 noon Mass on Sundays could use more ushers.   Would you please consider helping us?  Please call the Parish Office (203) 261-6404.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS NEEDED. The extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion assist priests and deacons in administering Holy Communion. At St. Jude Parish ministers serve at each of the weekend and Holy Day Masses. There is also a need for ministers to deliver Holy Communion to the homebound. Some ministers do both.You have to be at least 16 years old and be Confirmed.  Could you help? Please call Doug and Ellen Stevens at (203) 268-9229, or email: dstevens4@charter.net
